Emergency services are at the scene of a crash on a North Yorkshire road this afternoon (Friday).
The two-car collision happened at the Alne crossroads, on the road between Tollerton and Helperby.
Fire crews from Acomb and York responded to the incident at 4.24pm. Both cars caught fire.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “One vehicle was well alight, but all occupants were out on arrival.”
The road is closed and drivers are best to avoid the area right now.
