Police are investigating after a car crashed into a wall in a York suburb.
It happened on Hempland Lane opposite the junction with Heworth Village at just after 10.30pm last night (Monday).
A black VW Golf hit a wall between two houses.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision, or anyone who recalls seeing the vehicle prior to the collision, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.
“Officers are particularly keen to hear from a woman who was almost hit by the vehicle but was not present when officers arrived at the scene.”
