Boy vandals cause £2K of criminal damage at York school

Police are investigating criminal damage caused to a York primary school.

Vandals struck at Clifton Green Primary School, damaging the electric gates at the main entrance.

It happened at at 7.30pm on Friday 13 February.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Two male youths aged 12-15 were captured on CCTV. The damage caused will cost more than £2,000 to repair.

“If you witnessed the damage being caused, have dashcam or CCTV of youths at this location on the date and time given, please get in touch straight away.”
