Two coastguard teams were called to a capsized boat close to a North Yorkshire holiday park.
Bridlington Coastguard Rescue Team said it, alongside colleagues from Filey Coastguard and the Filey RNLI Lifeboat, was called out after reports of a capsized boat in the sea off North Yorkshire today (March 28).
The vessel was seen off the coast of Filey’s Haven Primrose Valley Holiday Park – close to Hunmanby Gap.
A spokesperson said: “On arrival, teams quickly assessed the situation and confirmed that both persons on board had safely exited the water prior to their arrival. They were cold but, fortunately, uninjured.”
