A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash in York.
It happened on the A19 Shipton Road near to the junction of Howard Drive at 7.48pm on Friday.
A blue Ford Ranger pickup truck and a grey Yamaha motorcycle collided.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The motorcyclist sustained life threatening injuries and remains in hospital.”
As YorkMix reported on Friday, the road was closed for seven hours while police investigated the incident and the vehicles involved were recovered.
Police are now requesting anyone who witnessed the incident or has any dashcam footage that could assist our investigation to get in touch.
