Bikers have taken to the roads today (Sunday) in North Yorkshire for an annual charity run.
The Squires Egg Run 2026 started from Squires Motorbike Café near Selby and headed across the county to Pickering.
The annual rideout, involves motorbikes, trikes and scooters, and benefits Yorkshire charities with participants asked to make cash donations.
More than 400 riders took part.
For the first time, a dedicated high visibility digital display truck was deployed by North Yorkshire Police to deliver key road safety messages to motorcyclists and other road users.
The vehicle played a prominent part during the Squires Egg Run .
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Driving the route, the truck displayed reminders about safe riding, pre ride checks and the shared responsibility all road users have in keeping each other safe.
“Its purpose is simple: to provide a visible, proactive reminder of the importance of road safety at the very start of the season.”
