The A66 in North Yorkshire was closed westbound between the A1M (Scotch Corner) and B6274 (Hartforth), after a collision.
North Yorkshire Police and National Highways Traffic Officers have been on scene and at least 4 vehicles were involved, the accident happened shortly after 12:30pm this afternoon.
A full closure of the westbound carriageway was implemented to enable recovery of all vehicles.
It is now open again.
