The A1M in North Yorkshire has reopened after closing this morning due to a medical emergency.
It is closed southbound between J52 A6055 (Catterick) to J51 A684 (Leeming Bar / Bedale). Emergency services went to the scene.
Large queues of traffic built up as police set up diversions via the A6055.
The road was reopened shortly before 10am.
