Fire crews were called to a takeaway in York after it filled with smoke.
Firefighters were called to the incident at 6.31pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from Acomb and Tadcaster responded to smoke logging inside a takeaway.
“Crews established the cause was hot oil leaking on to an extractor motor which was giving off smoke. The electrics were isolated and advice given.”
