A shop in York was shuttered and cordoned off by police after a ‘serious incident’.
The One Stop Shop on Dodsworth Avenue, Heworth, was closed for several hours today (Saturday).
It reopened and was trading again normally this evening.
Earlier a note on the shutters said: “Due to a serious incident last night we are currently closed!
“We aim to be open by 5pm this evening. Thank you for understanding.”
YorkMix understands there was a raid at the convenience store last night (Friday).

Unconfirmed reports say three armed robbers wearing balaclavas were involved.
We were told this evening that no member of staff was harmed in the incident.
