A York road was closed after a crash this morning (Monday).
Gillygate was shut as emergency services dealt with a serious collision involving a car and a pedestrian at around 5.30am.
The road has now reopened.
Earlier there was a police cordon and tape at the Bootham Bar junction.

The road was shut all the way to its junction with Lord Mayor’s Walk.
It was closed to cars, cyclists and pedestrians.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Please avoid the area until further notice and follow the diversions.”
