A moped was destroyed by a fire that was started deliberately early this morning.
Firefighters were called to the incident on New Lane, Huntington at 3.59am today (Thursday).
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Huntington responded to a report of a moped on fire.

“On arrival this was found to be 100% destroyed by fire.
“One knapsack sprayer was used to extinguish the fire. The cause is believed to be deliberate.”
