York fire crews called to hay fire

York and Acomb fire crews responded to a stack of hay, approximately 4x4m, on fire in allotments in York.

The incident happened at 5:44pm last night (Saturday 31 August).

Hose reel and pitchforks used with a revisit scheduled for this morning.
