A new wine and cocktail bar could be coming to York.
A licensing application lodged by Lisa Jayne Cain would see King of Cuts barbers converted into a new venue with space for 18 patrons.
The application lodged with City of York Council stated the bar would serve wine, cocktails and bottled beer.
The bar would open from 11am to 11pm, Wednesday to Sunday, and it would be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
It would also open from 11am to 11pm on bank holiday Mondays and New Year’s Eve, until 8pm on Christmas Eve, 5pm on Boxing Day and 7pm New Year’s Day.

All opening hours and details about the application will be subject to a council decision on the plans.
People can comment on the application until Friday, April 17.
The building was previously home to C&S Sourdoogh, with a number of barbershops and takeaways based there prior to that.
Plans lodged in 2021 to turn a storage area at the back of the building into a home were refused by the council.
The licensing application for the wine and cocktail bar follows a similar application lodged for a building in Fulford Road in February.
Sunnys Catering Ltd’s application applied to licence the former Urban Hair and Beauty salon to create a craft beer bar next to its café.
