A woman was sexually assaulted on the dance floor of a York club this weekend.
It happened on the ground floor of Club Salvation in the early hours yesterday (Sunday 9 November).
At around 2.15am a man, unknown to the victim, sexually touched her .

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A man in his 20s was detained by club security staff and the police were called.
“He was then arrested and taken into custody for questioning. He has since been released under investigation to allow for further enquiries to be carried out.
“We’re appealing for information from anyone who may have witnessed the incident happen.”
