Fire crews were called to an unusual incident in the early hours of this morning (Saturday).
They went to a call for help on Hamilton Drive, York at 1.10am.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Acomb responded to a report of an elderly female who had got her leg stuck under the seat in a car.
“Crews used small tools and crew power to release the female from the vehicle and handed her into the care of ambulance crews to be transported to hospital for a precautionary check.”
