A woman aged 79 was left with a head injury after being attacked in Knaresborough.
Now a woman has appeared in court charged with the assault.
The victim was pushed to the pavement close to a passing lorry. She suffered a cut on her head that needed gluing at hospital.
It happened on the High Street at around 11.30am on 17 October.
Estelle Bradley, 44, of no fixed address, appeared at York Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Wednesday) charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent on a 79-year-old woman.
Bradley was traced and arrested following a CCTV appeal by North Yorkshire Police.
She has also been charged with assaulting an emergency worker, a police officer, at Harrogate Police Station on 28 April 2026.
This occurred in custody while she was being charged with the other offence.
Bradley has been remanded into custody and is due back at court 1 June.
