Window smashed and items stolen at a bakery in York

There’s been a burglary at Miss Browns Bakery on Ratcliffe Street in York.

It happened between 7am on Saturday (31 January) and 3.45am on Sunday (1 February).

The owner of the small local bakery business arrived at work in the early hours of the morning to find that the window had been smashed and items were taken.

Police are particularly appealing for information from local residents – did you hear anything suspicious close to this business between these times?
