A crash closed a stretch of the A1(M) in North Yorkshire today (Tuesday).
It was shut in both directions between J52 (Catterick) and J51 (Leeming Bar) due to a collision.
The road has now reopened.
One of the vehicles involved was a trailer carrying livestock.
Emergency services went to the scene. At 11.58pm, National Highways Yorkshire said there were delays of up to 45 minutes on the approach, with four miles of congestion.
They announced it was back open again at 12.41pm.
