FourTold

Griffonage Theatre return with a collection of quirky one act comedies written by Irish playwright Lady Augusta Gregory in the decades preceding the Irish Civil War. Set in an odd rural town, Baile Aighneas (The Town of Dispute), this production marks the first time that these plays will be performed together in Great Britain!
-In ‘Spreading the News’, gossip wreaks havoc in a bustling market and rumours take on a life of their own.
-In ‘Coats’, a meeting between two newspaper editors turns fractious after a mix-up of garments.
-In ‘Hyacinth Halvey’, a young man’s reputation precedes him… but can he match up to the expectations of others?
-In ‘The Bogie Men’, two men meet at a coach stop and realise they are almost indistinguishably similar, but they soon find they have more than enough to argue about.

Lost Atoms

©Tristram Kenton

Jess and Robbie. A chance meeting, some disastrous dates, an extraordinary transformative love. It’s the stuff of fairy tales. Or is it? Lost Atoms is a wild ride through a life-changing relationship, or Jess and Robbie’s recollection of it. Together they scale the soaring highs and crushing lows, relive the beats of connection, the moments of loss. But are their stories the same? And can their memories be trusted?

Grayson Perry: Are You Good?

Are You Good? A question that I think is fundamental to our humanity. In this show I will be helping you, the audience, find out if you really are thoroughly good or maybe quite evil, but in a fun way. I always start out with the assumption that people are born good and then life happens. So, let’s pull back the curtain and see where your morals truly lie. Are you as virtuous as you think? With lots of audience participation (don’t worry, no one leaves unscathed) and a few silly songs we’ll have an entertaining afternoon and come out with our core values completely in tatters. Is it more important to be good or to be right?

Se Gæst | The Guest

Photograph: Chris Davis

When a stranger washes up on the shores of England, a community in turmoil is forced to confront their attitudes towards tolerance, survival, blame, nostalgia, and the changing world around them.

Through dance, live music, and storytelling Se Gæst | The Guest examines who we are, where we come from, and where we are going as a group of people who currently call England home today. This work has been built following a series of interviews and discussions with multiple communities across England who have shared their nuanced, often conflicting relationships with national identity.

The Lightning Seeds

Forget the hurt, it’s been 35 years of pure joy for Lightning Seeds, one of the country’s best loved bands. And to celebrate, they have extended their greatest hits tour in 2025, following a fully sold out run in 2024.

Alongside the tour, the band released their ‘best of’ compilation: Tomorrow’s Here Today: 35 Years of Lightning Seeds. It’s an absolute masterclass in modern pop songwriting from Ian Broudie. Kicking off with their classic debut single ‘Pure’, this really is a greatest hits disc worthy of the title from a band who have sold over 8 million albums. Across 20 tracks the LP features Lightning Seeds favourites including ‘The Life Of Riley’, ‘Change’, ‘Lucky You’, ‘Sense’, ‘All I Want’, ‘Sugar Coated Iceberg’, ‘You Showed Me’, ‘Emily Smiles’, ‘3 Lions’ and more.
