Police have arrested a wanted man in the centre of York this afternoon (Sunday).
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are pleased to report that our dedicated PCSOs have successfully located and detained a wanted individual in the Bootham area of York.
“Thanks to the vigilance and swift action of our local Police Community Support Officers, the male suspect was promptly detained and placed under arrest with the assistance of their response policing colleagues.”
