A van was abandoned in the middle of a York road and police are searching for its occupants.
The white Ford Transit van was left on Melrosegate at the roundabout with Tang Hall Lane at about 7.30pm on Saturday 20 September.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Members of the public may have thought a collision had occurred, however, that is not the case.
Incident location
“We are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the incident, or has any dashcam or doorbell footage of the incident or of the occupants leaving the scene.”
