A man who went missing more than a week ago has been found.
Police launched an urgent search for the 37-year-old, after he was last seen on Tuesday 30 April at about 6pm, leaving his home in the Heworth Green area of the city.
On Wednesday 8 May, police issued this update: “A man missing from York has been found.
“We appealed for information about the 37-year-old’s whereabouts, after he was reported missing last week.
“He was located safe overnight. Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal to find him.”
