Police who launched an urgent appeal to find a man missing from his North Yorkshire village home have issued a very positive update this evening (Tuesday).
The man, 36, went missing from Thornton-Le-Dale near Pickering, and was believed to be travelling towards Whitby.
Police asked the public to look out for him.
At 6.23pm, the force said: “Earlier today (Tuesday 19 March) we shared an appeal to find a missing 36-year-old man from Thornton-Le-Dale.
“We’re pleased to report that he has been found safe and well. Many thanks to everyone who shared the appeal.”
