Two sections of the York outer ring road will close overnight for five days.
It’s to allow City of York Council to carry out essential carriageway works.
The closed sections are centred around Askham Bryan in the south and Malton Road in the north, and will run from 8pm to 6am from tonight (Monday, 11 May) to Saturday 16 May.

The closures are:
- A1237 between the North Lane roundabout and the A1036 roundabout
- A1237 from Askham Bryan Lane to Broad Lane
- A1237 from Askham Fields Lane roundabout to Askham Bryan Lane
- Exit from A1237 roundabout to 50 metres onto Moor Lane
- A1237 from Millfield Lane Roundabout up to and including A19 roundabout
