Two people were injured in an altercation in York this lunchtime (Friday).
Police were called to reports of an assault in the Marygate area at 12.45pm.
A male suspect then ran from the scene.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “On arrival, we located two men who had suffered injuries, one of whom was taken to hospital for treatment.
