Three people have been arrested by police in York this afternoon (Tuesday).
Officers on patrol in the city centre were tipped off about a suspicious vehicle.
The car was traced and stopped on Blossom Street.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A search of the vehicle located food items including meat, cheese and butter, some of which had security tags attached.
“The three occupants – a woman in her 50s and two women in their 30s – were arrested on suspicion of shop theft, and taken into custody, where they remain at this time.”
