Three men from Leeds have been arrested on suspicion of going equipped to steal after their car was stopped in Leeming Bar.
At around 2.30am in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday 24 February) officers on patrol in the area saw a vehicle in the area of the industrial estate and after instructing the car to stop, one person ran off from the passenger side with a rucksack.
All three occupants, including the one who ran off, were arrested and a rucksack containing tools including bolt croppers, a Stanley knife and an angle grinder was seized.
The three aged 54, 30 and 27 were all arrested and taken into police custody for questioning where they remain at this time.
