Easter Family Trail at Castle Howard and the Arboretum

The Easter Bunny Woodland Adventure Trail at Newby Hall

An immersive woodland experience for the whole family… Step into the magic of the forest this Easter with Enchantica’s Woodland Adventure!
The trail leads to a sunlit clearing, where Easter Bunny and Mrs Bunny await. Families join them to prepare for the Woodland Easter Party, taking part in a joyful mini sing-along show suitable for all ages. After the performance, children can enjoy a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunnies, complete with a sweet treat takeaway. The adventure concludes at the Forest Fairy Spell, where families can make a wish in the giant cauldron.

Easter egg hunt at Beningbrough

Make your way along the trail and find activities for the whole family. The trail takes place between 28 March and 12 April 2026 from 10am – 5pm with the last chance to start the trail at 4pm, so come along and explore the beautiful gardens of Beningbrough.
There are 10 fun trail points to discover as you make your way around the garden. Try out the tilting topple blocks, stretch at the yoga station and test yourself on an a-maze-ing memory meander.
There’s also the wilderness play area, hall and art gallery with Drawing Studio, restaurant, and shop to add to your family day out. Or bring your picnic blanket and some games to play together if the weather is kind.

Easter egg hunt at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal

This spring, discover treats and a world of adventure here at Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal. Make your way along the trail and find activities for the whole family. The trail takes place between 28 March – 12 April, from 10 to 4, so come along and explore the beautiful abbey ruins and water garden.
Visit ten stops of fun activities as you make your way around the site. Get crafty making a finger puppet friend to join you on your adventure and for a teddy bear tea-party. Hunt for the golden eggs – if you’ve got a really keen eye, you might even spot the little silver one too. Take part in games and competitions and end your day with a big shout ‘yay’! as you pass through the ribboned archway. Before you go home – don’t forget to collect a reward and take a photo in front of the hanging egg tree. As well as the Easter trail there’s acres of space to explore. Race along the paths in the water garden (can you find the secret tunnel?) and explore all the nooks and crannies of the beautiful abbey ruins.
