Police are investigating a burglary in a York suburb.
Thieves struck at a home in the Clifton area on Friday night (25 August).
PCSO Justin Piercy of North Yorkshire Police said a PlayStation 5 was stolen.
He asked anyone with information to call police on 101 or report via the police website and quote incident number NYP-26082023-0254.
North Yorkshire Police issued this crime prevention advice:
- Ensure that all doors are locked overnight and windows are locked or on a latch.
- Remove any valuables from sight. Burglars usually look through windows to see what’s on display.
- It’s advisable to keep house/cars key, wallets/purses, phones/laptops/tablets in the room where you sleep.
