Police investigating drug dealing and thefts in York have made five arrests.
Drugs raids in Foxwood and Chapelfields on Wednesday 15 October resulted in the arrests of four people.
A 53-year old man, a 47-year-old woman, a 21-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy have since been released on conditional bail as the investigation continues.
On Saturday 18 October, a 30-year-old man was arrested in connection with a string of commercial burglaries and shop thefts in the Foxwood and Woodthorpe areas.
The man has been released on conditional bail.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Our team is committed to tackling crime and supporting community safety working closely alongside the community, local businesses and partner agencies to address local priorities and bring offenders to justice.”
