Police have given a message to parents after youngsters caused trouble in York last night (Friday).
Officers were called to deal with a gang of teens in the city centre.
On social channels, the force said: “Do you know where your children are on an evening?
“At 10pm last night, York city centre police dealt with a group of approximately 20 mid teens.
“One child was arrested for assault and others given orders to leave.
“York city, late evening is not an appropriate place for a child.”
