Fancy some spooky shopping?
The Yorkshire Halloween Festival will be taking over Parliament Street from tomorrow (Thursday) until Halloween itself (31 October).
This event, from Made In Yorkshire, will bring ‘pumpkins, crafts and creativity’ with fun, family friendly activities for all to enjoy.
In addition to their stalls filled with Yorkshire made goodies, there will be craft workshops dotted around where visitors will get the opportunity to get hands on and have a go at making some spooky crafts and artisan
Trick or treat? Treat: one lucky winner will get the chance to try their hand at blacksmithing in an exclusive workshop where they will learn forging skills to create a one-of-a-kind beautiful steel metal rose.

With all the Halloween fun and excitement of the festival going on, Parliament Street will be quite busy so if you are looking to escape the noise for a bit, Made In Yorkshire has you covered because the festival will also feature a ‘Sensory Tipi’.
Organisers describe the Sensory Tipi as “‘”a cosy creative retreat where children and grown-ups alike can take part in calming craft sessions”.
