York firefighters were called out to a fire that was started deliberately last night (Thursday).
They went to reports of a fire in a field in Huntington at 9.38pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “This was a fire to a sofa in a field.
“Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. The cause was deliberate and the sofa was 100% damaged by fire.”
