Police have increased their patrols on Blossom Street in York after reports of after school trouble.
Residents and businesses say they have been victims of anti-social behaviour at school leaving time.
Officers have also deployed a dispersal order to try and tackle the problems.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We have also been in contact with schools in the area and are working alongside them to prevent further issues.
“Feel free to come and talk to us if you see us out and about.”
They asked that if you see something untoward, you report it on 101, or call 999 in an emergency.
