Police officer charged with sexually assaulting women in York club

A police officer is due to appear in court charged with sexual assaults on three women in a York nightclub.

PC Martin Brough was charged with three counts of sexual assault on a woman over the age of 16.  

The reported offences relate to separate victims in a York city centre nightclub on 1 December 2024 whilst the officer was off duty.  

The 43-year-old from Leeds, who works for West Yorkshire Police’s Operational Support unit, has been suspended from duty.

He is due to appear at York Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (26 November).
