Police are investigating an incident in which two people were hurt in York.
As YorkMix reported, St Mary’s off Bootham was sealed off by officers last night.
They also taped off a pathway and some parking bays in the adjoining Marygate car park.
Police have now released a statement about the incident. They said: “North Yorkshire Police attended an incident at Marygate Terrace in York yesterday evening (5 June) after receiving a call from the ambulance service at around 8.30pm.
“Two men sustained injuries during the incident and officers are carrying out investigations.”
The cordon was lifted at about 10.20pm.
