Fire crews are tackling a blaze in a North Yorkshire woodland today (Wednesday).
They’ve been called to the incident at Wykeham Forest at Sawdon.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We are currently attending a fire in Wykeham Forest, Sawdon, Scarborough.

“A number of fire crews are responding on scene. One Argocat and one water bowser are in attendance.
“Please avoid the area at this time.”
It comes a day after the North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service issued a warning about wildfires.
“As the weather warms up over the next few days, please stay wildfire aware,” it said on Facebook.
“In dry, warm conditions, one careless decision can be all it takes for a small fire to spread quickly across grass, woodland or moorland.”
Wykeham Forest is a 2,760-acre woodland in the North York Moors National Park.
It was developed from the 1920s onwards, as part of the Allerston Forest programme, which included Dalby Forest, Bickley Forest and Staindale Forest.
This is what the Woodland Trust says of Wykeham Forest: “An established forest, mainly of pine and other conifers.
“The forest is being used as a centre for research into ‘Alternatives To Clearfell’ forestry. This work investigates ways of maintaining a timber-producing woodland whilst at the same time maintaining tree-cover and bio-diversity.
“The forest also supports one of the Forestry Commission’s tree nurseries.”
