A pub-goer became trapped in a venue’s toilets last night (Monday).
The man became stuck in the gents at the Punch Bowl, the Wetherspoons pub on Blossom Street. He alerted staff but they couldn’t free him either.
So they called in the fire service at 9.23pm.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A crew from York released one person from the toilet cubicle of a public house, using small tools.”
