One person was hurt in a two-car crash at a York junction.
It happened on Melrosegate at the junction with Fourth Avenue at 3.22pm yesterday (Sunday).
A silver Vauxhall Corsa and a red Volkswagen Polo collided.
Crash location
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Following the collision the driver of the Polo was taken to hospital for precautionary checks.
“The road was closed for a period of while we investigated the scene and to allow for the vehicles involved to be recovered.
“We’re appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicles prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact us.”
