A Ryedale road was closed this afternoon (Saturday) following a crash.
Emergency services were called to the incident near to the Middleton Arms at North Grimston.
Initially North Yorkshire Police said: “Medics are currently on scene and treating the patient, however, the B1248 through the village is currently blocked.”

They later gave this update: “The road is open and passable. We are still conducting traffic control as we await recovery to take the vehicle.”
Officers thanked road users “for your patience and understanding”.
