Two people were assaulted in an attempted robbery in York city centre.
It happened around midnight on Friday 31 October on Davygate.
Two men were assaulted on Davygate, close to Caffe Nero.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Following the incident we have arrested a man in his 40s on suspicion of robbery. He has since been released on conditional bail.
“We continue to appeal for any witnesses of this incident to speak to us.”
