Firefighters were called to a deliberate fire in the early hours of this morning (Friday).
They went to reports of a fire in a field in Selby at 3.06am.
This turned out to be a motorbike well alight.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The crew used knapsack sprayers, buckets of water and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.
“The cause is believed to have been deliberate.”
