The countdown to Christmas is on – with only two weeks to go until the start of the York Christmas Market.
Artisan traders from across Yorkshire are putting the finishing touches on their handcrafted gifts, festive flavours and beautifully made creations ready to fill the iconic Alpine Chalets lining Parliament Street and St Sampson’s Square.
The festive market returns Thursday 13 November to Sunday 21 December, and organisers Make It York have announced the full list of traders for 2025.
With a range of new traders this year as well as returning favourites from Christmas past, there is something for everyone to enjoy – from street food, to homeware, to a wide variety of gifts.
The York Christmas Market aims to shine a spotlight on the very best of the city while celebrating residents’ and visitors’ commitment to supporting local Yorkshire businesses.
85% of traders come from within the Yorkshire region, with every single food trader (100%) representing Yorkshire.
