Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in York.
It happened on Lawrence Street at about 5.30pm on Friday, 20 November.
A group of youths were gathered on the street and one of them assaulted the man, who was walking past.
The victim sustained cuts and bruising to his face.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “We are appealing for witnesses and information about the assault.
“In particular, we are appealing for information from anyone who may of witnessed the assault or saw a large group of youths on Lawrence Street at around that time.”
