There was a bit of drama in the Dales last night (Monday).
It happened in Settle and has been reported by the fire service in the market town.
A man went into the fire station at 7.24pm in some discomfort.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Advice only given to a male who came to the fire station seeking first aid to a hand injury.
“The ‘injury’ was a nettle sting which the male had never experienced before.”
