A man was attacked by another man on a bike during a robbery in York
It happened on Lowther Street between the junctions with Brownlow Street and Eldon Street on Sunday 23 November just after midnight. Details have just been released.
The suspect, who was on a bike, assaulted the victim with what was described as a hammer. The man is described as approximately 5’10” tall and was wearing a balaclava/ski mask.
The victim had his wallet stolen and suffered bruising and swelling following the incident.
