Fire crews carried out a rescue operation after someone fell from a wall in York early this morning (Thursday).
It happened at 1.42am. A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Acomb crew came across an individual who had fallen off a wall and had become trapped behind a gate.
“Crews used a hammer and chisel to allow the individual to extricate themselves.
“They assisted paramedics on scene administer first aid, only minor injuries sustained.”
