A leak caused big problems at a York city centre business today (Sunday).
York firefighters went to help at the incident on George Hudson Street at 4.02pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from York responded to a report of water leaking into a commercial property through the ceiling in multiple places.
“Crews worked to establish the source of the leak. Crews were unable to access the leaking pipe.
“Contact was made with the property landlord to arrange an emergency plumber to attend.
“Advice was given to the affected business to seek advice from an electrician and to isolate the affected electrics.”
