The family of the second victim of the fatal Holme-on-Spalding-Moor crash have paid a heartfelt tribute to him.

David Evans, 55, died in the collision on Holme Road on Sunday (18 January).

He was alongside Patrick Shaughnessy, 27, in a Land Rover which collided with a Ford Transit van. Both died at the scene.

In tribute to David his family said: “Dave, known to so many as Devis, was my whole world. He was my rock, my soulmate, and my best friend. He wanted to get married this year and had big plans for us, and with his children.

“Dave had an infectious aura and could light up any room the moment he walked in. It was impossible not to love him.

“He had the biggest heart and was the craziest, funniest man you could ever meet. No matter how bad your day was, Dave would always find a way to make you laugh.

“He adored his children, Joe, Libby, Dominic and Josh with every inch of his being. They were his absolute pride and joy.
